Explore Maryland’s wildest river along a gentle riverside trail in Friendsville, MD. Walks are about 2 hours long and cover approximately 2 miles. Walkers look for interesting and rare flowers such as the Pink Lady Slipper, Purple and Painted Trilliums, Swamp Azalea, Spring Beauty, Solomons Seal and more. Great for nature lovers and nature photographers with lots of interesting subjects and river scenes along the way. Before or after the walk enjoy a coffee or snack at the Water Street Cafe.
